We think the world would be a better place if local communities, independent businesses, charities, schools and projects were put first. That's why we created Go Local First - think of us like a digital town hall, bringing communities together whilst levelling the playing field to allow our local businesses to thrive.
If you use Go Local First, you truly are helping support local businesses and projects, reducing their costs whilst being rewarded for doing so! We're here to make a real difference, but we need you to join to help us do so.
What features are available?
Go Local First will include a variety of amazing features. We'll be launching with features including a local rewards scheme, local business listings and updates, the chance to order food and drink to collect or delivered to your door (from your favourite takeaways, bakeries, cake makers, grocers, butchers and more), the ability to get instant quotes from emergency tradespeople, community group memberships, a unique volunteering system, information on community events in your area (including food festivals, proms in the park and more) and we'll be working with councils and local political groups to bring you information on local elections and features such as an "adopt your street" litter picking service, recycling information and the ability to report issues in your community directly to the council.
How can I use Go Local First?
You can access Go Local First by using the app, via our website or by using a physical Go Local First card. Earning and redeeming your points takes seconds.
Why should I join?
Go Local First is effectively free to use for local businesses, so by using Go Local First, you are supporting your local business community. You'll also be rewarded through our Go Local Points rewards scheme. We are also launching great community support features, meaning you can actively support your community, helping to improve the place where you live.
How do you support the community?
You can use your Go Local Points on supporting community projects, as well as providing opportunities for schools, charities and projects to attract volunteers and funding.
